Downtown Miami, Dodge Island, Northern Biscayne Bay - Four Hours (Map) Captain Sir! heads north under the Rickenbacker Causeway past Brickell Avenues soaring architecture passing downtown Miami and the bustling Bayside Marketplace. Well sail beneath the Dodge Island bridge to the Port of Miami. You cannot appreciate the grandeur of the mega liners until youve seen a cruise ship up close and personal! Captain Sir! takes you nearly out of view of Miamis skyscrapers, 15 miles south. Well stop at the wonderfully restored island of Boca Chita and the one-of-a-kind solid coral rock lighthouse. Here youll discover how Miamis early pioneers saw Biscayne Bay. The original vacation retreat of the Honeywell family has been restored and incorporated into Biscayne National Park.
